  •  Hello, my name is Bill a.k.a monsterb and welcome to monsterb.org | daemons, gnus, and penguins. Oh my!. GNU + Linux has been a hobby of mine since 1998 and FreeBSD since 2009. On the Linux side I started out with Mandrake 5.1. Over the years I tried many different GNU + Linux distributions. Today I use Arch Linux, GNU + Debian, and FreeBSD.

  •  monsterb.org is a website devoted to BSD, Free Software, GNU, Linux, and OpenSolaris. The monsterb.org domain was registered in September 2006 and is hosted on a GNU + Debian server. The tools I use to make and maintain this site are, Bluefish (powerful editor targeted towards programmers and webdesigners), Filezilla (free FTP solution) and nano (improved pico editor).
